About Me/The Experience

I am a Health technology professional with more than 20 years of experience working across a wide range of healthcare environments, including a Federally Qualified Health Center, an academic medical college, a consulting organization, and large, complex health systems. That diverse background has shaped how I approach leadership, technology, and transformation with a strong appreciation for mission, scale, and the realities of care delivery at every level.

My work has focused on aligning clinical, technical, and operational leaders around a shared vision and turning complex initiatives into sustainable outcomes. I bring experience across enterprise technology strategy, digital health, EHR optimization, virtual care, and clinical safety systems, and I’m known for building trusted relationships with executives, clinical leaders and industry partners while translating technology into clear clinical and operational value.

Mason Health Collaborative (MHC) represents my personal professional brand and the lens through which I intentionally build relationships and connect with health professionals across the industry. It is a platform for dialogue, shared learning, and collaboration, reflecting my commitment to thoughtful engagement and advancing healthcare through connection.

The Personal Side

I carry a strong sense of curiosity from my professional work into my personal life, grounded first and foremost in my faith in God, which provides guidance, perspective, and purpose. Proverbs 3:5–6 has long shaped how I approach both life and leadership:“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Outside of work, this curiosity often takes shape through interests such as home theater sound and home automation, or in the kitchen roasting coffee, cooking new dishes, baking sourdough, and grilling. Across each of these pursuits, patience, iteration, and attention to detail remain constant themes.

Time with my wife and kids is foundational, and I place high value on building relationships and connecting people within the community where I live. Bringing others together around shared interests, meaningful conversation, and a sense of belonging reflects the same commitment to connection and service that guides my professional life.

I am also drawn to challenges that expand perspective and build resilience. I have completed two ultra marathons and pursued experiences well outside my comfort zone, including nighttime alligator hunting. Whether personal or professional, I am motivated by continuous learning, strengthening relationships, and leading with humility, resilience, and purpose.
